Making A Drain Volcano
- First, you’ll need to gather your ingredients: baking soda and white vinegar.
- Measure out one cup of each ingredient starting with the baking soda. Pour the powder down the drain followed immediately by the liquid.
- Watch your volcano fizz and bubble. (Extra points for adding a bit of red food coloring to your vinegar!) After the volcano goes dormant, set a timer for 5 minutes.
- The final step is boiling some water, and pouring about 8 cups down the drain.
If your drain is still clogged, repeat steps one through four.
