Sump Pumps and Sewage Service in New Orleans

Sump Pumps & Sewage Service New OrleansSump pumps often get overlooked when you are thinking about your home sewage system. Sump pumps do all the dirty work for you by pumping waste into your home’s sewage system or septic tank. When you are looking for a quality sump pump, you want one that can handle solids easily. A quality sump pump will not clog and will give you years of great service. While sump pumps are not designed to process lots of volume at once, they are made with heavy-duty materials that can withstand the test of time.

Who Needs a Sump Pump?

Many Bienvenu Brothers customers ask us about the use of sump pumps. The most common usage for a sump or sewage pump is in basement plumbing and septic systems. If you have a toilet located in a basement, you will need a sump pump due to the piping’s location below ground. Septic systems also require a sump pump to help break down and pump the waste from your home. Many homeowners who do not have access to public sewers use a sump pump.

How Do I Get a Sump Pump?

When you are looking to have a sump pump or sewage pump installed, you need to call a professional. This is not the type of DIY job you would want to try. Installing a sump pump can be dirty, smelly, and very technical. The last thing you want is for sewage to back up into your home. Call the experts at Bienvenu Brothers, and let us assist you with your sump pump installation or repair. We are happy to answer any questions or concerns you have about the process.

What is the Most Common Cause of Sump Pump Failure?

The most common cause of sump pump failure is power outage. If you’re in an area that is prone to losing power, make sure your sump pump is hooked up to a generator to ensure it won’t fail in the event the power goes out.

How Do I Know What Size Sump Pump I Need?

Most sump pumps are sold based on the basis of the motor’s power. A .33-hp sump pump is standard. If your home had a sump pump installed when you bought it, chances are that it is this type of model. If you have questions about utilizing a weaker or stronger sump pump, give us a call.

Is Installing a Sump Pump Difficult?

You’ll need a fairly high degree of skill in order to install your own sump pump and a decent amount of time. It’s much better to replace your sump pump before it goes out rather than after it fails and you have a mess on your hands. If you have questions about installing a sump pump, call Bienvenu Brothers.

OUR SERVICES

We have used Bienvenu Brothers several times over the last few years, and we have always been extremely satisfied with the service and quality work. Bienvenu always makes every effort to get someone out as soon as possible. They just finished a job that has increased my respect even more. Seven weeks ago, to the day, one of our bathrooms backed up in the early afternoon. Bienvenu had a sewer cleaning truck out later that day. Unfortunate, they were unable to clear the line and it was determined that we needed video inspection to determine the problem. When the video crew came out they determined that there was a problem with the parish sewer line. The parish would come but couldn’t clean the line because of a lift station problem. This repeat every couple of days for weeks. Keith and Louis made calls and did all they could to try to get the problem resolved. Finally, the parish fixed the lift station, cleared the line and corrected an issue with our connection to the main line. The next day, today, Bienvenu had Frank and his crew out, and they made the necessary repair to my line in a couple of hours. FINALLY, we can again use our own shower and toilet. Keith and Louis were persistent in trying to keep things moving, and Frank did a quick and great job of finishing up. I can’t imagine ever using anyone else!

Dear Bienvenu Brothers, I am way behind in my correspondence, but I wanted to thank you for the quick, efficient, honest service I received on December 19, 2011. My hot H2O heater went out. I called Bienvenu Brothers because of a recommendation. It was so close to the holidays, but yet you made it possible for my family to take hot showers that night. The computer board went out, and Kirk said it was under warranty and only charged me for the service fee. Since I had never used you before, I was amazed. Thanks for everything!

I just wanted to thank you for the outstanding service on my new State water heater. I bought the unit from Coburn’s and my husband and a friend installed it. It kept coding out and would not work. I called the manufacturer (State) and they recommended that I call you guys. Vint came out and did some troubleshooting. He contacted State Technical Support, and they sent the part over-night to me. Unfortunately, when the new part was installed, it still did not work, so I called Vint, and he called State again for another part. I have never had such wonderful customer service and was very impressed with the employees’ diligence in staying on top of the matter. Vicki called me to set up my appointments and was so sweet and friendly. Louis Bienvenu originally took my call and was very attentive to my problem and made everything happen. It was a very pleasant experience all the way around, and I just wanted to say “THANKS!”  Next time I have a plumbing problem, I will definitely be giving you guys a call. Thanks again and may God bless you, your family and your business!

Dear Mr. Bienvenu: Thank you so much for allowing us to pay off our new hot water heater. I also appreciate your help with this costly bill, and also with the excellent service we received from your Technicians. We look forward to doing business with you again in the future.

Dear Sirs: Just to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You all did a wonderful job and people have given you praise.

Dear Mr. Bienvenu: I wish to commend your entire staff for helping me get my mom’s sewer problem handled in an efficient and effective manner. Your office assistant (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name listened to my plight and relayed my concerns to the plumber. Louis Jr worked with me over the course of two days assuring me that he would give the problem his best effort but could not guarantee we wouldn’t have to dig up the entire front yard. His integrity and dedication got the job done! And then the gentleman (I think his name was Rick) who my mom talked with, assured her that her bill could be paid over a few months’ time, which is “life saving” to an elderly person on a fixed income, who wishes to remain independent. I could not have asked for more.

Mrs. F.

Just wanted to pass on my sincere appreciation for everything you did with my tankless water heater. Hope I don’t have to call anytime soon.
